PE Days
We will taking part in PE lessons on a Wednesday and Friday this half term. Please come to school wearing a PE kit on these days and any other day you have a club.
Clubs
Class 4 can take part in the following clubs in Autumn term 1:
Dance - Tuesday 3.15 pm - 4.15 pm with Miss McEntee, our brilliant, dance-trained TA
Football - Wednesday 3.15 pm - 4.00 pm with Darell Sibbons, a local football coach.
Ball Sports - Friday 3.15 pm - 4.15 pm with Premier Sports
Please log on and register a place on Wisepay if you would like to take part. If you are taking part in a PE club please come into school wearing your PE kit on that day.
Spanish
In Class 4 we have a Spanish lesson every week. Each morning our chosen Spanish Ambassadors lead the class in saying the date in Spanish, they also share what the weather is like. We complete our morning register in Spanish and our afternoon register in a whole host of languages including: French, German, Italian, Polish. We are looking forward to learning even more!
Class 4 Knowledge Organisers
Knowledge organisers show the basic knowledge we want all children to learn throughout a topic. These are used in class as a tool to help children recall information. Please look at these with your child at home as well; they are a great way to find out more about what your child is learning.
Here is the knowledge organiser for our History topic this term, where we will be learning about Ancient Egypt.
Science
This year we will continue to use spiral curriculum for science, where we will revisit our topics across each term, building and reinforcing our learning throughout the year. Our science topics this year are: Forces, Properties of Everyday Materials, Living Things & Their Habitats and Earth & Space.
Reading
We love sharing and reading books in Class 4.
