WELCOME TO THE FRIENDS OF ST. BENET'S

OUR SCHOOL PTA

 

'The Friends of St. Benet's' is the name of our Parent Teacher Association (PTA), a friendly and welcoming group made up of parents, carers, relatives and school staff. 

 

Our main goal is to raise valuable funds to support the school and enrich the education of pupils at St. Benet's Primary School in Beccles, Suffolk, through grant applications, school discos, bake and ice-cream sales and a variety of other fun events. 

 

The Friends of St. Benet's is made up of parents and carers of children attending St. Benet's. When your child joins the school, you automatically become a member of the PTA.

 

There's no sign-up, no pressure - just a chance to get involved as much or as little as you can. 

 

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Everyone is welcome to be an active member of The Friends of St. Benet's PTA. We usually work remotely without the need for regular meetings but when we do, our meetings are short and informal (and accompanied by a brew and a biscuit). 

 

Even if you only have a small amount of time to give, there are always behind-the-scenes and small jobs or projects where an extra pair of hands makes a big difference. You could help by:

• Helping to promote or organise our events
• Raising awareness of our group
• Helping to set up or pack away at events
• Baking for cake sales

The more people involved, the lighter the load - and the more fun we all have!

EASY WAYS TO SUPPORT US

DONATE TEXTILES

Donate your unwanted clothes and textiles! We have a large blue Textile Bank located at the school gate.

You can donate: Clothes, Shoes, Handbags, Belts, Towels, Curtains and Sheets

Unfortunately, we can't accept: Dubets, Pillows, Books, Toys, Electrical goods
